EXEMPT
The purpose of this position is to provide report development and support for ASHA databases including designing and developing queries, stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages, and reports; performing quality assurance; providing technical documentation; and; providing end-user support including problem diagnosis, correction, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develops database queries, stored procedures, and triggers to meet end user output requirements
- Designs and develops reports to meet end user output requirements
- Provides end-user support for the Association Management System (AMS), including requests for advanced database queries and reports
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with existing queries and reports, including providing technical assistance to end-users
- Writes and maintains technical documentation for all applications in one of the approved formats
- Converts data and creates DTS packages between internal applications and ASHA data warehouses or data marts
Qualifications
Knowledge typically acquired through:
- Obtaining a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management
- One to three years related experience
Scope and depth of technical skills/knowledge:
- Experience required developing applications using any or all of the following programming languages and/or tools: Stored Procedures in MS-SQL 2000 and higher, Visual Studio .NET 2005, Crystal Reports v 9 and higher, SQL Server Reporting Services, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience preferred in data warehouse/data mart development, and business intelligence reporting; Visual SourceSafe
- Demonstrated skills in MS-Windows XP and higher, MS-Office (MS-Word, and MS-Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and accurate technical documentation
- Demonstrated experience developing applications using the Software Development Life Cycle

Salary: $63,630 - $70,700
