Please note the following when ordering a transcript:
If you have paid the Registry fee for the years requested and all recent CE activities are posted, your transcript will be mailed within 2-3 business days.
Mailing delays occur if your Registry fee is not paid or if an activity is not yet recorded on your transcript.
Payment delay: Your transcript will be sent within 2 weeks after payment receipt.
CE activity not recorded: Time varies. Providers have up to 45 days from activity's end date to submit participant information. Once here, processing time can take up to 4 weeks. At certain times of the year, processing and posting time may be longer due to heavy volume.
About the ASHA Continuing Education Transcript
Each year, thousands of individuals add new CE activities to their cumulative ASHA CE Registry records.
- What is on the ASHA CE transcript?
Your computerized transcript includes the date, title, course description, Provider code, subject code, instructional level, content codes, and the number of ASHA CEUs.
- How much does a transcript cost?
When you pay your annual ASHA CE Registry fee, you will be credited with an electronic voucher for a free transcript. Vouchers are valid for 5 years from issue date. When you make a transcript request, your oldest voucher is used. Additional transcripts are $15 each/members and $20 each/non-members.
- When/where are transcripts sent?
Transcripts are printed upon your request and forwarded to you. Transcripts can also be sent to a 3rd party, such as licensing or certification agencies. 3rd party requests must be in writing (use the online form or fax your request to 301-296-8574).
- How are transcripts sent?
Transcripts are sent via postal mail. Transcripts cannot be sent via e-mail. You can receive a faxed transcript if you pay the Express Transcript fee. The cost is $45 plus use of your oldest voucher. If no vouchers are available, the cost is $45 plus the transcript fee, $15 each/members and $20 each/non-members.
- Why can't I view my transcript online?
At this time, ASHA is not able to provide secure online access to continuing education transcripts. However, you may request a transcript through our online form, and it will be mailed within 2 business days. If you do not need an official transcript, you may e-mail continuinged@asha.org to find out how many CEUs you have. Please specify the date range you want to know about, or give us a call (800-498-2071). ASHA staff are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5p.m. EST to assist you.
