ASHA Co-Sponsors HHS Event: Dr. Marion Downs Honored with Secretary's Highest Recognition Award
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association co-sponsored the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Fifth Annual "Celebrating Persons with Disabilities." ASHA member Dr. Marion Downs was honored with the Secretary's Highest Recognition Award for her groundbreaking work and lifetime dedication promoting the early identification of hearing problems in children.
ASAE's Summit Awards Event: ASHA Receives Prestigious Award from ASAE
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) received a Summit Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in recognition of the accomplishments of ASHA's Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Campaign that focuses on the hearing health of the very young.
