|
The reporting period for ASHA CEUs earned at the 2008 ASHA Convention is closed. If you still wish to earn ASHA CEUs for Convention, you will need to appeal to ASHA's Continuing Education Board.
The fee for an appeal is $50. If you choose to appeal, you will need to take the following steps:
- Write a letter addressed to the Chair of the Continuing Education Board including an explanation of why you have not requested CEUs previously, and that you are requesting that CEUs be awarded now.
- Enclose a list of Convention sessions you attended with the following information about each:
- Session number
- Session title
- Day and time of session
- Enclose a check payable to ASHA for $50 and send these items to:
ASHA Professional Development – MS 335 2200 Research Boulevard Rockville, MD 20850
- ASHA Professional Development will submit the appeal on your behalf with a letter of support. The Board reviews appeals at regular intervals during the year. We will notify you as soon as the Board has taken action. It normally takes 6–12 weeks for an appeal to be decided and CEUs to appear on your record.
If you have questions about the appeal process contact ashaprofdev@asha.org or call 800-498-2071.
