ASHA recognizes that these are challenging times for everyone—times that also create many opportunities. The 2009 Convention scheduled for November 19–21 in New Orleans will give you the opportunity to: obtain up to 24 hours of CEUs, hear about the latest research, and attend program sessions to learn about practical solutions to issues in your every day work. To assist you in attending, ASHA has added an early-early bird rate to offer more of a discount.
$25 Gift Certificate Included with Registration
All ASHA member registrants will receive a Convention ASHA Bookstore gift certificate for $25 toward any ASHA Professional Development CEU program in your registration materials. No minimum purchased is required. Offer applies only to individuals who register at ASHA member or new member rate. Discount applies to ASHA Professional Development CEU programs only. Gift certificate is valid for onsite purchases only. No refunds for any unused portion of certificate.

To receive any discounted fee other than related professional, you must indicate your membership number on the registration form. Please make sure that your dues are current. Failure to do so will result in your registration being processed at the general registration fee. Students in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program may join NSSLHA and receive the NSSLHA discounted fee. Doctoral students who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence may initiate their ASHA membership in order to receive the discounted rate. One-Day Registration in New Orleans
You may purchase one-day registrations after 2:00 p.m. the day before you want to attend the Convention (for example, if you wish to attend the Convention on Friday, you can register any time after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday). This will allow you to attend an 8:00 a.m. session the next day without waiting in line to register. You can also register on the day you attend. One-day registrations can only be purchased onsite in the registration area at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
