SIG Audiology Perspectives Vol. 7, No. 1, November 2011

  • list Healthy People 2020’s goal for individuals with hearing and communication disorders.
  • identify the key areas for which Healthy People 2020 has created objectives to address children with hearing loss.
  • describe factors that impact the quality of the infant diagnostic evaluation, provision of hearing technology and intervention services for children with hearing loss.
  • provide an example of how audiologists and speech-language pathologists can collaborate to facilitate timely and effective follow-up for children with hearing loss.
