Directory of Assessments
ASHA has decided to discontinue the Directory of Speech-Language Pathology Assessment Instruments for a number of reasons. Because of the proliferation of assessment instruments, it was no longer feasible to include all tests and keep it up to date. The Directory was no longer the comprehensive tool we intended for our members.
We also did not want to give the appearance of endorsing certain tests over others.
More current and detailed information about assessment instruments is available from the test publishers. The original Directory was developed at a time when the Internet did not exist. Now members can search the Internet for specific tests and contact publishers directly.
