Important Dates and Professional Development Hour (PDH) Information for the 2025 Leadership Development Program (LDP) Cohorts

LDP General Cohort – Application submissions will be accepted October 30 – December 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Members will earn 19.5 PDHs in 2025 (Year 1). This includes 12.0 PDHs for the in-person Kick Off Workshop at ASHA headquarters, and 1.5 PDHs for each of the five webinars. Members will earn 3.0 PDH’s in 2026 (Year 2) for a total of 22.5 PDH’s over the course of the program.

The general cohort kicks off in April 2025 and is for audiologists and speech-language pathologists in any work setting.

LDP Health Care Cohort – Application submissions will be accepted January 27 – March 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Members will earn 18 PDHs in 2025 (Year 1). This includes 12.0 PDHs for the in-person Kick Off Workshop at ASHA headquarters, and 1.5 PDHs for each of the four webinars. Members will earn 3.0 PDH’s in 2026 (Year 2) for a total of 21.0 PDH’s over the course of the program.

The cohort kicking off in July 2025 is for Health Care-based audiologists and speech-language pathologists. However, it is important to note that the LDP program rotates between a healthcare and schools' cohort annually.
