ASHA-PAC Official Drawing Rules

Spring into PACtion!

No purchase or contribution is required to participate in the drawing. Offer void where prohibited. Submitting a drawing entry by any of the means identified below constitutes acceptance of these rules.

ASHA-PAC is the federal political action committee of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Individual contributions to ASHA-PAC are used to support candidates who are running for federal office.

Contributions to ASHA-PAC are not tax-deductible. Contributions are strictly voluntary and will be used for political purposes. You have the right to refuse to contribute without any reprisal. Contributing to ASHA-PAC does not increase your chances of winning.

Eligibility

This drawing is open to residents of the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. To enter, you must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Offer void where prohibited.

Sponsor

ASHA-PAC located at 2200 Research Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850 is the “Sponsor” of this drawing.

Duration of Drawing

The drawing begins at midnight ET on March 31, 2025, and ends at noon PT on April 30, 2024.

Methods of Entry

No purchase or contribution is required to participate in the drawing. Eligible individuals are those who make a minimum contribution of $20 or more to ASHA-PAC during the duration dates of the drawing.

Prizes

For contributions of $20 and up, the prize is valued at $50–$100 pre-tax. For donations of $100 and up, the prize is valued at $600 and up pre-tax. The odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries received. The prizes shown in any materials promoting the drawing are for illustration purposes only, and the actual prizes awarded to the drawing winner may differ from those shown.

Selection of Winners

The prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entrants on May 5, 2025. The drawing will consist of one drawing per prize. The prize winners will be emailed at the conclusion of the drawing. A prize winner’s failure to respond when results are announced may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate prize winner. An alternate prize winner will be selected in the event the prize cannot be awarded to the prize winner drawn.

Prize Restrictions

All taxes in connection with the prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Entrants are only eligible to receive one prize from the “Sponsor” per calendar year. Delivery of the prize will be made in the year 2025–2026.

Limitation of Liability

The winner agrees that the “Sponsor” and its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prize. “Sponsor” makes no warranties—neither expressed nor implied—regarding a particular prize’s merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
