2025 ASHA CE Provider Annual Fee Increase

September 13, 2023

Like many organizations this time of year, ASHA CE has been developing its budget and forecasting for the future. We’ve completed our analysis of program costs and reviewed similar accrediting organizations. As a result, we’ve updated our ASHA CE Provider fee schedule. The 2024 CE Provider annual fee will remain $900. The 2025 CE Provider annual fee will be $975, the 2026 annual fee will be $1,050, and the 2027 annual fee will be $1,125. We decided to increase the annual fee incrementally to offset the financial impact on Providers, rather than have one large increase. ASHA CE last increased Provider fees in 2019. We’re notifying you of this change in advance so that your organization has time to budget for the fee changes over the course of the next 4 years.

The complete listing of Provider and Participant related fees is available on our website.

Since 2019, ASHA CE has made many changes that have enhanced our service and support to ASHA Approved CE Providers like your organization. Here are some of the new services we’ve introduced:

  • The CE Provider Portal, a platform for online, on-demand course registration, reporting, and roster processing, with the ability to generate custom reports for Providers.
  • The Excel Reporting Template, which provides a simple mechanism to report participants online through the portal.
  • A new Brand Block with an improved design that includes the course information, along with access to your customized Brand Block on demand through the CE Provider Portal.
  • “Intersections Live!,” a series of live, online opportunities to learn with your CE Provider colleagues, share valuable information, develop professional contacts, and ask questions.
  • An enhanced CEFind that makes it easier for users to access and register for your courses.
  • Updated resources that are clearer and more user friendly.

As a result of these improvements—as well as the contracts, technology, and staff to support them—the costs of business for ASHA CE have risen in the past few years. That, along with our analysis of the Provider fee data from other professional organizations, has informed these Provider annual fee increases.

Every 3 years, ASHA CE researches the fee information from other CE accreditors. We look at their structure, we ascertain what types of fees they charge, and we compare their programs and fees to ours. Our research shows that even at $1,125 per year (the annual fee for 2027), ASHA’s annual fee for providers is $200–$400 less than that of similar accrediting organizations. ASHA CE Providers are still getting excellent value when compared with the program costs of these other accreditors.

We appreciate your continued relationship with us as an ASHA Approved CE Provider, and we thank you for your work as your organization’s CEA or CE Content Consultant.
