Participate in Virtual Student Advocacy Day on October 26!

ASHA is teaming up with National NSSLHA once again to host Student Advocacy Day on October 26, 2023. This year, we urge students to “Take Action” by asking Congress to support the IDEA Full Funding Act (H.R. 4519/S. 2217). Year after year the federal government falls short of its goal to provide funds to cover 40% of the average per pupil expenditure for educating students with disabilities. This bill would make funding for IDEA mandatory with a 10-year glide path to reach the full 40% of the average per pupil expenditure for students with disabilities.
