ASHA CE Now Transmits Records to CE Broker for Michigan Licensees Who Use the Registry—New Hampshire Coming Soon

December 12, 2024

The Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology and the Michigan Board of Audiology now use CE Broker to track their licensees’ continuing education for license renewal. ASHA CE has started transmitting records to CE Broker for Michigan licensees who use the ASHA CE Registry, and we have a Michigan license number in our system.

We now offer this service to licensees from the following states:

  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Michigan
  • Ohio
  • South Carolina

We’ll add New Hampshire to the list shortly.

If learners from these states wish to have the ASHA CE Registry submit courses to CE Broker on their behalf, then the learner must

  • pay the Registry fee for applicable years and
  • ensure that ASHA CE has their correct state license number.

Learners can add their state license number, correct their state license number, or opt out of transmission of course records to CE Broker by taking the following steps:

  1. Log into My Account.
  2. Go to “Manage Your Information.”
  3. Click on “License and Credentials.”
  4. Add a license number, correct a license number, or indicate “do not report” to prevent ASHA from transmitting your ASHA continuing education units (CEUs).

Learners can also call the ASHA Action Center (800-498-2071) to update their license information.

We also recently added a question to the Course Registration Form to support Michigan licensure’s pain management requirement. If you select the 7060 subject code, you’ll be asked if this course was created specifically to support Michigan’s Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirement.

If you have any questions about transmitting course records to CE Broker, contact your Provider Manager or review the FAQs for details.
