New Resources that Explain the Differences Between ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and ASHA Professional Development Hours (PDHs)

Over the years, we’ve noticed some confusion about what the difference is between ASHA CEUs and ASHA PDHs. As a result, ASHA CE has developed some resources that should ease this confusion and promote some of the benefits of earning ASHA CEUs.
We recently introduced a new webpage—ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours—What’s the Right Choice for You?—that we plan to promote soon. It includes a video and an infographic highlighting the key differences between these two forms of credit. The resources shared on this webpage provide the details that learners need to make an informed decision about which form of credit to earn. They also explain how earning ASHA CEUs can help professionals maintain their certification and licensure. We encourage you to share these resources with learners when they have questions about the difference between ASHA CEUs and PDHs.
